Took a trip to Carlisle this morning to campaign in Cummersdale, a small rural village in the Carlisle city council area with Michael Randall, the excellent Conservative candidate in the Dalston ward by-election on 17th October.
We had a pleasant morning: the weather was beautiful after the less clement conditions earlier in the week and we enjoyed meeting local residents on the doorstep.
